This option is for those students who wish to take steps towards obtaining fluency in English and who may wish to explore taking qualifications such as IELTS Academic, CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) and FCE (First certificate in English) in the future.
General English is available as a standard course (15 hours per week) or as a part of an intensive course (21 lessons per week) which includes 6 hours of Academic English.
Main Features
- Improve all areas of your English language; grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation are thoughtfully integrated into the 4 key skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
- This course provides a pathway to gaining English language qualifications.
- Suitable for students with different levels of English, from Beginner to Advanced.
- Ideal for students who want to study and who are allowed to work in the UK.
- Develop your communication skills by working with other students doing activities such as role-plays, pair work and group discussions.
- Interactive Whiteboards as well as a host of other varied resources, are used to make the courses as relevant and engaging as possible, to reflect the individual needs of the students.
- Homework after every lesson and regular tests are included to measure your progress.
- Individual tutorials with your teacher / the Director of Studies, to discuss your learning plan and progress.
